Job summary

Teledyne Reynolds, a Teledyne Defense Electronics business unit, is seeking a Material Handler in Torrance, CA. You will receive, store, and issue components to support production, logging items into the ERP system, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Strong attention to detail and ability to lift up to 25 lbs are required. Minimum 2 years of material handling experience, familiarity with kitting and cycle counting, and basic PC skills (MS Office) are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of material handler experience including receiving and inventory management.
• Familiarity with kitting, cycle counting and material handling.
• Familiarity with EEI export declarations preferred.
• Experience using a microscope for detailed inspection of small parts.
• Basic computer skills including barcode scanning.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store materials, verify part numbers and paperwork.
• Log items by part number into the system.
• Maintain inventory records with daily cycle counts.
• Support production by issuing components and documenting actions.
• Read BOMs and order picking lists.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to procedures.
• Train other employees as needed.
