Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Stock Room Supervisor for a temp-to-hire, onsite role with our manufacturing client. You will supervise staff, coordinate scheduling and release of parts, and maintain inventory control records and system procedures.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years’ related experience in manufacturing, plus five years of supervisory experience. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with ERP/Made2Manage is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or 3+ years related experience in manufacturing.
• Five years supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of ERP, Made2Manage (M2M) system a plus.
• Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff; establish performance expectations, provide feedback, conduct reviews, and assist with hiring decisions.
• Assist with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting and control operations.
• Implement inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting.
• Manage the inventory database and support department with technical and procedural inventory control.
• Check inventory and request counts when variances are found.
