Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House/Receiving operations, partnering with Store Management to direct merchandise flow and ensure timely restocking to the sales floor.

You will build strong teams, reinforce safety and asset protection, and coach associates while coordinating workload planning and onboarding to support the store’s results.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, set-up and organization are at standard.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to prevent shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Direct associates and workload; coach in the moment and recognize performance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
