Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all company policies and standard practices.
• In the absence of the department manager, manage department operations per standards.
• Maintain neat personal appearance and comply with appearance policy.
• Recognize and coach associates delivering great service.
• Understand and use company tools such as financial reports, scheduling, and POS systems.
• Maintain solid communication with the department, store manager, and organization.
• Maintain merchandising techniques and layouts per company standards.
• Maintain department compliance with pricing and coding policy.
• Work within management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
• Support safety standards and report needed repairs; keep area clean.
• Develop product knowledge and understand department practices.
• Ensure proper training of all assigned department associates.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are met.
• Maintain appearance and presentation quality.
• Treat associates with fairness and provide recognition and feedback.
• Perform special projects and duties as assigned.
