Job summary

Reports To: Materials Supervisor/Materials Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Verifying quantities, part numbers, descriptions, serial numbers on Parts issued from inventory.
  • The organization and cleanliness of the Engine Shop Stockroom.
  • Separating delivery and pick up shipments for various warehouses, Quality Control, and other departments.
  • Ensuring that inventory balances remain accurate by proper completion of ongoing Inventory checks.
  • Knowledge of current computer systems, making accurate data entries in accordance with established procedures.
  • Knowledge of common warehouse practices and warehouse tool operations, i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Materials Supervisor or Stockroom Lead related to the stockroom and company needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.
