Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners seeks a Lee Canyon Stock Associate to receive, unpack, and organize inventory behind the scenes and ensure accurate tagging and restocking for the sales floor.

This role requires attention to detail, basic inventory software literacy, and the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays during peak resort days. The position emphasizes teamwork and independent work within a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• Previous stockroom or back-of-house experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with basic numerical and computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays during peak operation days.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and verify shipments against packing slips.
• Unbox, tag, and categorize apparel and hardgoods.
• Maintain organized stockroom and safe storage.
• Restock sales floor and replenish apparel racks and displays.
• Assist with cleaning and backroom maintenance; support floor staff as needed.

Summary

The Lee Canyon Stock Associate is responsible for receiving, unboxing, organizing, and maintaining the flow of merchandise behind the scenes and onto the sales floor. This critical operational role ensures inventory is accurately catalogued, tagged, and restocked efficiently to support daily resort shop sales.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Unpacking: Receive incoming shipments, verify item counts against packing slips, inspect products for damage, and report discrepancies to management.
• Inventory & Tagging: Unpack, price-tag, and categorize apparel and hardgoods according to retail guidelines.
• Stockroom Organization: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom layout to allow quick product retrieval for sales floor restocking.
• Sales Floor Replenishment: Monitor sales floor stock levels throughout the day and continuously restock apparel racks, shelves, and accessory displays.
• Facility Support: Keep backroom aisles, loading areas, and storage spaces free of debris, boxes, and snow. Assist floor staff with moving heavy displays or gear as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous stockroom, warehouse, or back-of-house retail experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome.
• High attention to detail with basic numerical and computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays during peak resort operation days.

Working Environment/ Physical Demands

• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to push, pull and lift more than 50 pounds.
• Cleaning/maintaining store and department areas such as windows, picking up trash, shoveling snow, etc.
