Job summary

Resort is seeking a Seasonal Retail Shop Supervisor to lead a high-visibility pop-up store during October–end of season. You will sell merchandise, assist with inventories, and deliver top-notch guest service.

The role requires evenings, weekends, and holiday availability, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and maintaining store standards. Responsibilities include processing transactions, product recommendations, and cross-department collaboration to ensure a smooth operation in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of POS system and cash handling.
• Excellent customer service skills in person and by phone.

Responsibilities

Position Overview: Sell retail merchandize and assist with inventories.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide an engaging customer experience through friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
• Demonstrate and sell merchandise to customers.
• Accurately process cash, credit cards, and gift card transactions and operate a cash register.
• Be familiar with Resort products and services to answer guest questions and provide product recommendations.
• Maintain store's appearance to keep products neat and organized.
• Correctly inventory, restock, and label merchandise.
• Complete daily opening and closing procedures.
• Work together with all departments to build a positive working environment.
• Physically perform the essential job functions of this position.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform the job and get along with others.
• Show up to work on time, consistent attendance, and dependable.
• Other duties as assigned.

Environmental Factors:

• Face-to-face interactions with the general public and Resort staff.
• Walking, bending, rotating, and standing constantly.
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive use of hands, arms, shoulders, back, and legs frequently.
• Lifting to waist level up to 50 lbs. frequently, above shoulder lifting and / or carrying of up to 10 lbs. frequently, and carrying of up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Sight and hearing of acceptable standards for Essential Job Functions.
• The working environment may be stressful when meeting public demands and staffing needs.
