Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners' Lee Canyon Resort in Las Vegas seeks a Retail Lead to oversee daily floor operations, register management, and store security. As a senior floor leader with keyholder duties, you open/close the shop, manage cash, and supervise front-line staff.

You'll deliver guest-focused service, provide gear recommendations, drive shift performance, uphold visual standards, and assist inventory accuracy in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• Prior retail, customer service, or cash-handling experience required; previous senior associate or keyholder experience preferred.
• Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and trust to handle keys, alarm codes, and store cash.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication, problem-solving, and team support skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for operating POS systems and reconciling register drawers.
• Ability to work a flexible resort schedule, including early morning opening shifts, evening closing shifts, weekends, and peak holidays.

Responsibilities

Summary

The Lee Canyon Retail Lead ensures every guest receives an exceptional shopping experience while taking active ownership of daily floor operations, register management, and store security. Acting as a senior floor leader with keyholder responsibilities, this role opens and closes the shop, manages cash drawer counts, and supervises front-line team members during assigned shifts. Beyond delivering expert guest service and gear recommendations, the Lead drives shift performance, maintains peak visual standards, and supports inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations & Keyholder Duties: Responsible for opening and closing store locations, securing building access, arming/disarming security systems, and performing daily POS drawer opens, reconciliations, and safe drops.
• Shift Leadership & Support: Guide daily floor activities during assigned shifts, assign associate tasks, ensure break compliance, and support onboarding and ongoing peer training for retail staff.
• Inventory & Stocking: Manage sales floor stock levels, track product movement, and ensure high-demand gear and apparel are promptly restocked.
• Merchandising & Presentation: Maintain peak visual merchandising standards, keep store layouts engaging, and ensure clean, orderly sales floors and fitting rooms.
• Guest Experience: Deliver top-tier customer service, offer expert product knowledge, and resolve guest inquiries or minor escalations with a welcoming attitude.

Working Environment/ Physical Demands

• Stand and move on the retail floor for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
• Ability to push, pull and lift more than 50 pounds.
• Cleaning/maintaining store and department areas such as windows, picking up trash, shoveling snow, etc.
