Job summary

Riverview Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and support under supervision. You will identify residents, monitor conditions, and document care plans while following facility policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, meals, and mobility, while maintaining confidentiality and reporting concerns promptly to nursing staff. The role requires 10th grade education or higher and CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.
• Mathematical skills: fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before procedures using wristband/photo card.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report incidents.
• Assist residents with daily activities and daily living tasks.
• Engage residents and create a warm, safe environment across shifts.
• Document intake, meals, and fluid consumption accurately.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and examinations.
• Assist with mobility and positioning to prevent injuries.
