Job summary

Northstar Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents. You will identify residents via wristbands, administer basic care, and support daily living activities under supervision.

Accurate documentation and timely reporting of changes are essential. Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, maintaining a clean environment, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general materials and procedures.
• Ability to write reports, notes, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents.
• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes and charts accurately and descriptively.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents.
