Job summary

Lake Pointe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our 74-bed facility on the shores of Lake Erie. You will assist with daily resident care, support rehabilitation goals, and work closely with nurses and therapists to ensure high-quality outcomes.

We offer private and semi-private rooms, cable TV, and internet access to help residents feel comfortable.

Qualifications

• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification required.
• Experience in patient care and basic nursing tasks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nurses with the delivery of patient care, including vital sign monitoring, bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide support with feeding, toileting, and ambulation, while promoting independence and dignity for our residents
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper storage and disposal of supplies
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and other mobility needs, as needed
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and residents, promoting open communication and collaboration
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent customer service, while maintaining a positive attitude and work environment
