Job summary

Life Care Center of Westlake is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to deliver routine daily nursing care in a respectful, patient-centered environment. Join our team and help provide quality care across long-term or dementia care units.

We offer set schedules, competitive shift differentials on 2nd and 3rd shifts, and benefits after meeting weekly hours. Up to $25 per hour with experience; inquire about sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with laws, regulations and Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
• Join an interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively to ensure patient-centered care.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and maintain professional relationships with all staff.

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program

• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
