Job summary

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) seeks a data-driven STIP Manager to safeguard Utah’s multi-billion-dollar programming system and lead the Program Finance division. In this dual-capacity leadership role, you’ll ensure data accuracy, oversee workflow, and present decision-ready briefings to executives.

You will direct a six-member team, run financial scenario models, coordinate with FHWA and MPOs, and drive compliant funding approvals to keep projects on track and let letting occur

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance Management, Accounting, or related field.
• 6–8 years of professional experience in program management or transportation finance.
• Experience with federal/state funding compliance preferred.
• Data governance and audit-ready operations experience.
• Directly related experience may substitute education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• STIP management and data governance across all project cycles.
• Lead day-to-day operations for a six-member Program Finance team and review funding requests.
• Coordinate with FHWA Finance division and MPOs to verify funding eligibility and approvals.
• Develop executive briefings and presentations for leadership.
