Job summary

State of Utah's Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) seeks a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Manager to safeguard the integrity of Utah’s multi-billion-dollar transportation programming system and lead the Program Finance division from the Taylorsville location.

This role emphasizes data governance, regulatory compliance, funding analysis, and executive briefings to leadership, MPOs, and FHWA, with a focus on building auditable, decision-ready project pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with 6–8 years in program management or finance.
• Experience with state and federal transportation funding processes.
• Ability to manage data integrity across STIP/TIP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data integrity for statewide ePM STIP across cycles.
• Direct six-member Program Finance team and review funding requests.
• Provide executive briefings and coordinate with MPOs and FHWA.
