Job summary

McDaniels Do It Center is seeking a Stihl Power Equipment Specialist to process repair work orders and service Stihl equipment, primarily 2-cycle handheld units. A minimum of three years of related experience and strong customer communication are required.

Stihl certification is preferred, with training provided as needed. Responsibilities include repairing gear, ensuring safe operation of tools, completing warranty paperwork, and communicating parts for orders.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Small engine experience required or helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process all work orders for customer repairs and servicing/repairing equipment.
• Repair 2-cycle handheld units and related Stihl equipment.
• Provide high-quality repair services and ensure safe use of tools.
• Complete warranty paperwork in a timely manner and communicate parts needs.
• Assist with equipment sales and cross-train for other duties as needed.

Job Summary

The primary role of the Stihl Power Equipment Specialist is to process all work orders for customer repairs, as well as servicing/repairing their equipment. The range of equipment includes Stihl power equipment, primarily 2-cycle handheld units. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability and knowledge required for this position, including having a minimum of three years of related professional experience. The candidate shall also possess good customer communication skills. Stihl certification is preferred but will train as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Must have knowledge of 2-cycle small engines.
• Basic computer skills to access information online.
• Provide high-quality repair services on all work orders.
• Ensure the safe use of equipment & tools.
• Responsible for completing all warranty paperwork in a timely manner.
• Responsible for communicating special order parts for all work orders.
• Responsible for completing service work in a timely manner.
• Provide a safe environment by keeping work areas clean & organized.
• Possess strong communication skills as customer interaction may be frequent.May be required to cross-train and perform other duties.
• Ability to participate in the equipment sales process is highly desired.

Compensation: $16.66 - $18.00 per hour
