The Nature Conservancy in Indiana is seeking a Stewardship Operations Specialist to provide core services for the Stewardship Team, overseeing 34,000 acres across Indiana. The role emphasizes organization, diplomacy, and process improvement within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.
• Experience coordinating and improving administrative processes.
• Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
• Experience in business writing, editing, and communications.
• Experience organizing time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
• Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience using common software such as Word, Excel, and web browsers; field related software like GPS, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.

Responsibilities

• Work within the program’s strategic scope and independently handle tasks.
• Coordinate projects with multiple variables within defined timelines.
• Maintain, summarize, and report data for stewardship programs.
• Ensure compliance with Conservancy policies and donor/legal considerations.
• Provide budgeting support, including invoices and vendor contracting.
• Travel as needed and support training for staff and volunteers.
• Communicate across programs and with donors, volunteers, and partners.
