Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to coordinate and maintain cleanliness and inventory of hotel china, silverware, and cookware. You will work with Culinary and F&B teams to execute event orders and ensure high service standards in a fast-paced hotel setting.

The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage stewarding tasks and payroll in a dynamic environment. Hyatt offers wellness benefits and employee recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work any days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel, Email).
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods and lift, push and pull a moderate amount of weight.

Responsibilities

• Delegate daily tasks to Stewards and Food Leads to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of duties.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail in all stewarding functions.
• Oversee cleanliness standards for all back-of-house areas, equipment and storage spaces.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and usage of cleaning chemicals.
• Perform scheduling for the stewarding team, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and events.
• Complete payroll edits and timecard reviews accurately and on time.
• Utilize hotel systems such as HotSOS, Envision, and other property applications to manage tasks and communication.
• Support banquet operations by understanding and executing event orders.
• Maintain inventory levels of equipment and supplies, reporting shortages or maintenance needs.
• Train, coach, and support team members to uphold hotel standards and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Culinary and F&B leadership to ensure seamless service execution.
