Job description

The Lead Steward will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in our kitchens and stewarding areas. You will lead and support the stewarding team, ensuring efficiency, compliance with health and safety standards, and smooth operations that directly contribute to an exceptional dining experience for guests and a seamless working environment for culinary staff.

How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future
  • Oversee and coordinate stewarding staff in daily cleaning and dishwashing responsibilities.
  • Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and stewarding equipment.
  • Support the culinary team by ensuring timely and efficient dish and utensil turnaround.
  • Implement and maintain systems for waste management, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist with training, mentoring, and scheduling stewarding staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Ensure stewarding equipment is well-maintained and operational, coordinating repairs when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Hands-on experience with commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning procedures.
  • Proven track record of maintaining sanitation standards and compliance with health regulations.
  • Experience with inventory management and basic administrative duties.
Academic Background
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional training or certification in sanitation, food safety, or hospitality operations preferred.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
