Job summary

The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to join our on-site team in New Orleans. You will oversee the stewarding crew, schedule shifts, and ensure smooth operations during restaurant and banquet services.

You’ll uphold strict sanitation standards, manage inventory and equipment, coach staff, and track performance to support cost controls while delivering exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise back-of-house staff to ensure timely transport and cleaning of utensils for restaurant and banquets
• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house spaces to uphold sanitation and hygiene standards
• Manage inventory, equipment storage and distribution; coordinate timely delivery for functions
• Assist with scheduling, coaching, evaluations, and recognizing achievements
• Track breakage and losses; update manuals; support cost controls
• Partner with kitchen, bar, and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations
