Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Steward Supervisor to join our kitchen team. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in the hotel’s kitchen areas and supporting culinary and food service teams. We have AM and PM shifts available, with hours varying based on business needs. This supervisory role requires working alongside employees, motivating, training, and leading by example.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily operations of the Stewarding Department.
• Monitor performance, promote teamwork, mentor staff, and delegate effectively.
• Assist with all stewarding department tasks.
• Handle disciplinary issues as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and report deficiencies.
• Attend necessary meetings.
• Maintain sanitation standards and hygiene, report unsafe conditions.
• Manage requisitions and ensure timely processing.
• Communicate schedule changes and manage team workflow.
• Guide and support daily operations.
• Ensure proper storage and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with engineering and culinary teams for repairs and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization at all times.
• Ensure proper use of PPE.
• Oversee inventory and chemical ordering.
• Follow cleaning checklists and SOPs for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Manage equipment maintenance such as ice machines and dishwashers.

Qualifications
