Overview

The Forbes 4-Star Conrad New York is seeking a Substitute Steward to join the Stewarding Team. Located in Lower Manhattan, this hotel features 463 rooms, 30,000 sq ft of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, including a restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining.

Position Details

• Classification: Temporary
• Shift: Various, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Pay Rate: $29.07-$38.77, based on experience and location
• Union Position: Part of Local 6 Union, requiring open availability; schedule may vary

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and operate dishwashers to clean chinaware, silverware, and utensils
• Scrub pots and pans
• Burnish, de-tarnish, and polish silver
• Stock and maintain supplies and equipment
• Perform cleaning duties, including mopping and trash removal
• Transport and store clean serviceware
• Train other stewards as needed
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for events
