The stunning Forbes 4-Star Conrad New York is looking for a Utility Steward to join the Food and Beverage Team.

Stay inspired and join the pinnacle of luxury in the heart of Lower Manhattan, featuring 463 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full Time
Shift: Various – must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

What will I be doing?

As a Steward, you will be responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and serviceware, contributing to outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your tasks include:

• Washing dishes and operating the dishwasher to clean chinaware, silverware, and utensils
• Scrubbing pots and pans
• Burnishing, de-tarnishing, and polishing silver
• Stocking and maintaining supplies and equipment
• Performing cleaning duties such as mopping and trash removal
• Transporting and storing clean serviceware
• Training other stewards, as needed
• Preparing and placing clean serviceware for events and functions
