The stunning Forbes 4-Star Conrad New York is looking for a Substitute Steward to join the Stewarding Team!

Stay inspired and join the pinnacle of luxury in the heart of Lower Manhattan, featuring 463 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets including a restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining.

• Classification: Temporary
• Shift: Various – must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Pay Rate: $29.07 - $38.77, based on experience and location.

Union Position: This role is part of the Local 6 Union, requiring full availability. Schedule restrictions cannot be accommodated. Hours and schedule depend on seniority and business needs, and may vary weekly.

Responsibilities include:

• Washing dishes and operating the dishwasher for chinaware, silverware, and utensils
• Scrubbing pots and pans
• Burnishing, de-tarnishing, and polishing silver
• Stocking and maintaining supplies and equipment
• Performing cleaning duties like mopping and trash removal
• Transporting and storing clean serviceware
• Training other stewards as needed
• Preparing and setting up clean serviceware for events
