Job summary

Bally's Corporation is seeking a Steward to ensure the restaurant is equipped with clean china, tableware, cookware, and all necessary equipment. The role focuses on sanitation, organization, and reliable support for kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include washing and storing kitchen items, delivering stock from receiving, stocking food outlets, and keeping floors clean. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and strong customer service and teamwork skills.

The Role

The Steward is responsible for providing the restaurant with clean china, tableware, cookware, and all other equipment needed.

• Properly store all kitchen equipment, pots, pans, china, silverware, and glasses.
• Deliver and properly store all stock from receiving department.
• Deliver products and stock to food outlets.
• Clean floors in the kitchen area and cookers.

Competencies

• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• High School Diploma/GED, required.

Work Environment

A restaurant environment with varied noise levels, variable temperatures, wet areas, and smoke. Use of an elevator and stairs. A kitchen environment with a variety of workstations and storage areas, exposed to varied temperatures, smoke, steam, noise, and wet areas. May also work in a banquet/showroom environment with varied noise levels and temperatures, wet areas, and exposure to low-level lights.
