About Our Property

Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high above the San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174 feet. Surrounded by Ponderosa pines, the resort offers exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a 780‑acre reservoir that provides hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, zip‑lining, and more. The resort features a Bar & Restaurant, Spa & Wellness Center, Outdoor Pool & Lake Beach, and over 23,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

Seasonal Position (May 2026 – Mid‑January 2027) The Steward supports the restaurant and banquet team by ensuring pots, pans, dishware, drinkware, and utensils are clean, dry, and organized, and stored properly. Responsibilities also include supporting the Employee Dining Room (EDR) line cook with supplies, removing dirty items for sanitization, maintaining equipment cleanliness and sanitation processes, and managing the dish‑pit.

• Wash all pots, pans, dishware, drinkware, silverware, trays, and all other kitchen and banquet‑related items.
• Remove boxes and trash at appropriate times from the kitchen, placing them in proper disposal locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including storage areas and equipment.
• Monitor needs and cleanliness in the Employee Dining Room, replenishing dishware, drinkware, and utensils as required.
• Ensure glassware, dishware, silverware, pots, pans, and other items meet cleanliness and sanitizing standards.
• Organize and store all items in their appropriate locations.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machines; report malfunctions to the manager.
• Load and unload dishes and utensils to and from the dish machine, organizing them properly within the dish pit.
• Monitor cleaning and sanitizing standards per Health Department regulations.
• Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Ensure all prep stations and equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
• Keep handwashing stations stocked with soap and hand towels.
• Keep trash compactor and disposal areas clean and free of collateral.
• Pressure wash compactor area at least once monthly when the compactor is picked up or as instructed.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance.
• Assist with inventory management and organizing supplies as needed.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $17.00
