We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time STEWARD positions.

Location

Duke Mansion - 400 Hermitage Road, Charlotte, NC 28207. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time schedules; early morning shifts starting at 7:00 am. Sundays required. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirements

No prior experience required. Willing to train!

Pay Range

$17.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Perform duties to maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sweep and mop floors to ensure safety and sanitation standards.
2. Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
3. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
4. Remove trash and garbage, steam clean or hose out cans.
5. Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and equipment.
6. Transfer supplies and equipment, observing safe lifting standards.
7. Assist with banquet setup and front of house as requested.
8. Load, unload, and deliver supplies and products.
9. Distribute supplies and utensils as needed.
10. Follow all sanitation and safety requirements.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
