Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Fort Worth Convention Center is seeking a dedicated Steward to uphold our high sanitation standards and thoroughly wash dishes, cookware and utensils used in food preparation and service. This on-site role requires standing for long periods and handling up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for up to 8 hours during shifts.
• Able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working as part of a team.
• Willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, cookware and utensils thoroughly in alignment with Omni's sanitation standards.
• Break down trays from banquets and outlets.
• Deliver clean cookware and serving ware to outlets and meeting rooms.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station.
• Neatly store all dishes, cookware and utensils in their proper locations.
