Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Steward/Dishwasher for the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. You will wash dishes, clean kitchens, and maintain sanitation across shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior hospitality or dishwashing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stocking, waste disposal, and adherence to Health Department and OSHA guidelines. Maricopa Food Handler’s Card is required; ServSafe is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of prior work experience is required.
• Prior dishwasher and hospitality experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and perform general kitchen cleaning duties.
• Clean floors, tables, and equipment; manage waste disposal.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish area and handle biohazard disposal if needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations and training requirements.

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

As a Steward/Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing dishes and general kitchen cleaning duties to include cleaning and mopping floors and trash removal.

Essential Functions

• Gather pots and pans to wash in a three (3) compartment sink or a pot machine; breakdown, spray, load, unload dishes, glassware and flatware as they arrive in the dish area, then return items to the appropriate storage location
• Maintain chemical detergents in all applicable equipment such as dish washers, pot washers, and routine dispensers.
• Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards; sweep and mop all floors, wash all floor mats; clean kitchen equipment to include but not limited to dish machines, ice machines, pot machines, prep tables, hot boxes, refrigerators, etc.
• Separate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage, including potential biohazard cleanup.
• Maintain inventories of linen and remove soiled linen.
• Comply with regulatory departments and with departmental and property policies and procedures, to include Health Department, OSHA, Fire Department, etc.
• Complete mandatory health and safety training as required by the company or regulatory entities.
• Perform other job-related duties as required by management.

This is a full‑time position, and you must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays. The shift for this position is from 4:30pm-1am.

• Hospitality experience, preferred
