Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks a Security Officer for the Arizona Biltmore resort in Phoenix. The role protects guests and associates, enforces safety protocols, and supports emergency response. You will monitor access, log activities, and assist in dispatch as needed.

Qualified candidates bring prior guest service experience, hotel background, and a focus on safety. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, along with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience; hotel experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with ability to complete incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Patrol resort grounds to ensure safety of guests and associates.
• Investigate and report guest and associate incidents promptly.
• Log dispatch activities, maintain department logs, and monitor access.
• Conduct routine lock ups and unlocks of facilities.
• Assist in dispatch role as needed.
• Perform daily and monthly safety inspections.
• Respond to emergencies professionally and calmly.
• Support risk reduction and safety best practices.

About our property

The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. What you will have an opportunity to do

Essential Functions

• Patrol the resort grounds to ensure the quality and safety of hotel guests and associates.
• Investigate and report all guest and associate complaints, losses, crimes and accidents & incidents in a timely and accurate manner.
• When assigned to dispatch, log in and out keys and radios to associates, maintain an accurate log of department activity, and monitor foot traffic including visitor and package pass procedures.
• Conduct routine lock ups and unlocks of the hotel facilities.
• Assist in the dispatch role as assigned.
• Conduct daily and monthly written safety inspections.
• Monitor traffic control as needed.
• Respond to emergencies in an informed and professional manner.
• Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others.
• Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.

What are we looking for

Prior customer service experience, required Hotel experience, preferred Prior experience in security, preferred CPR / First Aid Certified Excellent customer service and communication skills Team player Ability to complete incident reports Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
