Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Steward for our Puerto Rico property to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and production areas. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to standards in a luxury setting.

The successful candidate will have hospitality experience, a polished appearance, and the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish with guests and staff. Full-time schedule with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality is preferred.
• Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine; load, unload, and store dishware.
• Clean ovens, kettles, mixers and kitchen equipment; maintain drains, floors, walls, and production areas.
• Clean and sanitize pots, pans, and utensils with proper solutions.
• Set up and operate the silver burnishing machine; handle damaged pieces for repair as needed.
• Safely store cleaning chemicals and protective clothing; follow safety protocols.
• Comply with company work rules and standards of conduct.
• Maintain harmony and professionalism with coworkers and supervisors.
• Maintain locker room and fitness areas cleanliness; provide orientation to guests on facilities.
• Offer spa and fitness tours; advise on spa treatment options.
• Respond to guest interactions in a courteous, efficient manner to maximize satisfaction.
• Distribute towels, robes, toiletries, and other amenities to ensure guest comfort.

About the location:

About the role

The Steward will be responsiblefor the cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation ofchina, glass, silver, kitchenequipmentand kitchen production areasin accordance withproduction requirements and quality standards whilemaintaininga safe work environment.

What you will do:

• Clean and sanitizechina, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine; load and unload dishware and flatware from dishwashing machine and store properly.

• Clean and sanitize all ovens, steam kettles,mixersand other kitchen equipment as well as all kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls; clean, dust, seep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff kitchen and pastry shop production areas and hallways.

• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions.

• Safely set‑up, clean, andutilizethe silver burnishing machine to clean, polish, sort, and transport silver following a daily or weekly schedule;placedamagedor excessively worn pieces in a designated area for repair.

• Safelyutilizeand store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials including soaking solutionutilizingthe correct protective clothing.

• Comply withFourSeasons’Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct asset forth inEmPact.

• Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.

What you will do:

• Maintains the cleanliness of the locker room and fitness areas.

• Provides guests with a fitness and locker room orientation.

• Offers spa & fitness tours and canadvise ofSpa treatment options.

• Respond to all interactions in an efficient,courteousand professional manner to achievemaximumcustomer satisfaction and comfort.

• Distribute and stock towels, robes, swimsuits, toiletries, juices, fruits and other items or amenities needed in the area to provide guests with a level of service in keeping with a Four Seasons.
