Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Puerto Rico is seeking a Server Assistant to support the dining team in delivering exceptional experiences. The role involves clearing and resetting tables, stocking service ware, and providing attentive guest service in a luxury resort environment.

Ideal candidates will have bilingual English/Spanish proficiency and at least one year of food and beverage service experience.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and service guests before requests are needed.
• Retrieve and stock linen, china, silver, glassware, and food/beverage items.
• Set tables according to standards; open and close side work.
• Provide unobtrusive and professional service throughout service.
• Serve water and attend to guests during meals.
• Carry and balance trays safely and efficiently.
• Clear and reset tables for groups as needed.
• Assist servers when required and handle mishaps promptly.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

About the role:
The Server Assistant assiststheserver in providing an expertly served dining experience conforming by clearing and resetting tables.

What you will do:

• Anticipate and service the owner and guest’s needs before requests are necessary.
• Retrieve and stock all linen,china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
• Provide unobtrusive and professional service.
• Provide water throughout the meal to guests.
• Carry trays properly and safely as well as break them down.
• Clear tables and reset them for specific number of persons.
• Provide quick and attentiveassistanceto any mishap in the restaurant.
• Assistservers when needed.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.

**What you will bring:**

• Average reading,writingand oralproficiencyinEnglishand Spanishlanguage.
• Minimum one-yearfood andbeverage service or equivalent.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to multi-task in ahigh-volumeenvironment.
