Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our hotel kitchen operations. You will operate an industrial dishwasher and ensure clean dishes and silverware are readily available for service.

The role requires teamwork, attention to safety, and adherence to sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be reliable, able to work under pressure, and focused on guest needs while maintaining a clean, organized station.

• Operate an industrial dishwasher.

Job Description

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
• Operate an industrial dishwasher
• Ensure the kitchen Colleagues have the dishes/silverware required and guests have clean dishes
• Sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher
• Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
• Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried
• Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Exposeure to hot surfaces and cleaning chemicals
• Proper use of PPE
• Other duties as assigned
