Loews Miami Beach Hotel is seeking a dependable Steward to maintain the highest cleanliness and organization in kitchen and back-of-house areas. You will clean dishes, cookware, and utensils, operate dishwashing machines, and support culinary teams to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in kitchen, cleaning, or hospitality-related work is preferred.

• Physical ability to perform duties including lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and glassware to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
• Operate dishwashing machines and perform manual cleaning when needed to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Organize and store cleaned items in their designated areas for easy access and smooth operations.
• Keep kitchen floors, walls, counters, and equipment spotless to ensure a safe workspace.
• Support culinary, banquet, and outlet teams by organizing equipment and supplies for seamless service.
• Deliver clean plates, utensils, and other essentials to kitchen or service areas promptly.
• Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste according to hotel standards.
• Report broken or malfunctioning equipment promptly to the Executive Steward or Stewarding Supervisor.
