Job Specific
- Cleans and maintains food and beverage storage/preparation/cooking areas and equipment, ensuring that they are kept at the highest level of sanitation and quality.
- Maintains proper sanitation of all dishwashing and pot washing areas and equipment.
- Operates/maintains dishwashing equipment properly to provide clean, sanitized china, glass, and silverware.
- Sorts, washes, and stores all china, glassware, silverware, service wares, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Operates silver burnishing equipment.
- Polishes silver serving equipment, silverware, and utensils.
- Operates floor cleaning equipment and maintains resilient floor surfaces.
- Removes all trash from kitchen areas, operates garbage disposal and trash compactor.
- Maintains control over food and beverage china, glass, silver, cookware, and service equipment inventories.
- Assists in food service setup of banquet areas prior to functions.
- Performs breakdown of all food service materials and equipment after banquet functions.
- Attends required department meetings to stay informed about in-house activities, promotions, and events.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand basic English.
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop repetitively during an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Knowledge of dishwashing equipment operation, chemicals, and chemical feed equipment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
