Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is seeking a Sterilizing Tech II to disassemble, clean, sterilize, and assemble trays and instruments for the operating rooms in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will maintain inventory, prepare sterile supplies, and ensure compliance with infection control standards while supporting department tasks and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Sterile Processing certification through an accredited body.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, assembles, sterilizes, and stores trays, instruments and supplies.
• Dispenses sterile supplies and trays to hospital departments.
• Assembles instrument trays with high accuracy using the tracking system.
• Maintains department reports and clean, organized work areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
