Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operator for our Gurnee, IL facility to coordinate conveyor activities, manage loads/unloads, and complete required paperwork under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor. You will record dosimeter data, prepare dosimeters for runs, and operate the dosimeter reader according to procedures.

Responsibilities include adherence to emergency procedures, reporting system problems, and assisting maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to read and write in English and perform basic math.
• Able to read a tape measure and use measuring tools accurately.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Computer skills are desirable for data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities on the conveyor, organizing work orders at load and unload stations.
• Load and unload product, complete paperwork, and assist the Shift Supervisor/Process Supervisor.
• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer and prepare dosimeters for work orders.
• Operate dosimeter reader, assemble processed dosimeters with run data and load/unload sheets.
• Know emergency procedures and report system problems; assist maintenance as needed.
