Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operator in New Jersey to coordinate conveyor activities, load/unload product for sterilization, and manage dosimeters and run data sheets. The role requires reading and recording measurements, following safety procedures, and assisting with maintenance as needed.

The position emphasizes shifts, physical effort, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with forklift experience preferred and basic computer literacy for data entry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Willing to work established shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product into totes for sterilization.
• Prepare dosimeters for scheduled work orders.
• Operate and read the dosimeter reader; assemble run data sheets.
• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Assist with system troubleshooting and report problems to supervisor.
• Replace designated mechanical components as needed and assist Maintenance.
