Job summary

Sotera Health, a leading global provider of sterilization and lab testing services, seeks an Operator to coordinate activities on the conveyor and manage load/unload at the irradiation system. You will record dosimeter data, prepare dosimeters, and assist maintenance while following safety procedures.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work with a Shift Supervisor to ensure accurate paperwork, proper dosimetry, and safe operation across 64 facilities globally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must perform arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Must be willing to work established shifts.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending/lifting.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Computer skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Load and unload product into totes sterilized through irradiation.
• Prepare dosimeters for work orders scheduled to run.
• Operate and read the dosimeter reader.
• Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheets and sheets.
• Follow emergency procedures as required by regulators.
• Report system problems to supervisor or maintenance.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
