Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operator at our New Jersey facility to coordinate conveyor activities, manage work orders at load/unload stations and ensure safe operation of the irradiation system.

Responsibilities include recording dosimeter data, preparing dosimeters, operating the dosimeter reader, and maintaining run data sheets. Training and certifications must be completed and kept up to date; lifting up to 50 pounds and forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads product into totes that are sterilized through an irradiation machine.
• Records input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Operates and takes readings on the dosimeter reader.
• Assembles processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets.
• Familiar with emergency procedures required by governing agencies.
• Reports system problems to the Shift Supervisor or the Maintenance team.
• Knows how to replace designated mechanical components of the system and may assist Maintenance as needed.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
