Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a lab technician to support the product engineering team with hands-on lab work and data analysis related to sterilization of medical instruments. You will work independently in a shared lab environment and prepare detailed ELN-based reports.

The role involves operating sterilizers, maintaining equipment, and helping establish test methods and specifications with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or applicable scientific field.
• Lab experience and knowledge of routine testing procedures and equipment.
• Experience with sterilizers or autoclaves is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication and active listening.
• Excellent time management and independence after training.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and routine testing using sterilizing equipment to determine material characteristics.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments including sterilization vessels.
• Prepare samples, analyze data, document results and generate reports.
• Contribute to new product specifications, test methods and equipment qualifications.
