Job summary

Portage Orthodontics in Portage, MI is seeking a Sterilization and Lab Assistant to join our growing team. You will clean and sterilize equipment, keep treatment areas organized, and assist the orthodontist with lab tasks.

The role involves using patient software to upload records, supporting marketing/community events, and cross-training in other duties to help the team provide excellent care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental/orthodontic experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and work areas per sterilization protocols.
• Keep chairs clean, stocked, and organized.
• Provide patient care instructions.
• Perform laboratory procedures under general supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Upload records to patient software.
• Assist in local store marketing and community events.
• Cross-train in other support positions as necessary.
