Job summary

Smile Doctors in Lavonia, GA is seeking a Sterilization and Lab Assistant to join our orthodontic team. You will clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and areas, keep chairs organized, and provide patient care instructions under the orthodontist's supervision.

You'll also perform simple lab procedures, upload records to patient software, and assist with local marketing and community events. Dental experience helps but is not required—training is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental/orthodontic experience helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn sterilization and lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and work areas in accordance with sterilization/disinfection protocols.
• Keep chairs clean, stocked, and organized.
• Provide patient care instructions.
• Perform laboratory procedures under the general supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Upload records to patient software.
• Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events.
• Cross-trains in other support positions as necessary.
