Regions Hospital is seeking an Instrument Processing Technician in Saint Paul, MN. The role focuses on sterilization, decontamination, and instrumentation processing under the Sterile Processing Manager.

The night shift runs Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., with alternating weekends. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or higher, with preferred associate degree or Central Service Technician certification, plus relevant internship or experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Central Service Technician certificate or equivalent.
• Enrollment in an associate degree program with clinical internship in sterile processing.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and document sterilizers per policy.
• Maintain sterility of equipment and supplies.
• Transport, handle, and store sterile instruments per standards.
• Decontaminate instruments using validated cleaning methods.
• Assemble instrument sets and prepare for sterilization.
• Prioritize work based on OR demand and scheduling.
