Houston Methodist seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, assemble, inspect, wrap and sterilize surgical instruments for Surgical Services and ancillary departments. You will work closely with OR staff to ensure timely sterile products, trays, and case carts while maintaining excellent customer service and safe practices.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a Sterile Processing program is preferred.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Formal Sterile Processing program preferred.

Mansioni

• Performs decontamination and assembling of basic surgical trays and instruments.
• Provides timely sterile products, trays and case carts, by location, in conjunction with OR staff.
• Sterilizes instruments and surgical trays by following manufacturer instructions and department policies.
• Organizes workload to maintain continuous workflow between OR and Sterile Processing with strong customer service.
