Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician in the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) to perform cleaning, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and handling of case carts and medical devices.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong computer skills; preferred experience with STERRAD sterilization and CRCST or CBSPD certification.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process cleaning, decontamination, assembly and sterilization of instruments and devices.
• Monitor environmental conditions, sterilization processes and high-level disinfection.
• Assemble and dispatch case carts and emergency carts.
• Inventory and ordering of SPD supplies.
