Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring for multiple openings of Associate Sterile Processing Technicians in the Sterile Process Department. Full-time, 1.0 FTE, variable shift (primary evening shift Mon-Fri 2:00PM-10:30PM), 40 hours per week.

Technicians collect, decontaminate, disinfect and sterilize surgical instruments and reusable medical devices to ensure safety and readiness for patient care.

Qualifications

• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician (HSPA) or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CBSPD).
• High attention to detail and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, decontaminate, disinfect, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and reusable medical devices.
• Ensure instruments are safe and ready for patient use.
• Maintain sterile processing standards with meticulous care.
