Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is hiring for multiple openings for Associate Sterile Processing Technicians in the Sterile Process Department in Anchorage, AK. The role includes collecting, cleaning, decontaminating, disinfecting, inspecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments and devices to ensure safety and readiness for patient care.

Shifts are Full Time, with a primary evening schedule (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, decontaminate, disinfect, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and reusable medical devices.
• Ensure that instruments and equipment are safe and ready for patient use when needed.
