Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK, is hiring multiple Associate Sterile Processing Technician roles in the Sterile Process Department. Openings include full-time positions with a 40-hour week and an evening shift, typically Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.

Responsibilities cover decontamination, sterilization, inspection, and preparation of instruments for patient use. Preferred candidates have sterile processing experience and certifications within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Certification within 1 year of hire (HSPA) or CSPD.
• Experience in sterile processing preferred.
• Evening shift availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, decontaminate, disinfect, inspect and assemble surgical instruments.
• Package and sterilize instruments and reusable devices.
• Ensure instruments are safe and ready for patient use.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all processes.
