Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage is hiring multiple Associate Sterile Processing Technician roles in the Sterile Process Department. The positions involve cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling and sterilizing surgical instruments and devices to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, decontaminate, disinfect, inspect, assemble, package and sterilize instruments and reusable medical devices.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are safe and ready for patient use.
• Meticulous attention to detail is essential for all tasks.
