Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workflow in the Sterile Processing Department.
• Communicate needs and priorities to the Supervisor or Lead Tech.
• Verify all equipment for next day procedures.
• Prepare case carts and identify missing items.
• Ensure compliance with AAMI standards across decontamination and packaging.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of sterile and nonsterile supplies.
• Instruct new staff and mentor during peak or emergency situations.
• Fulfill all compliance responsibilities and perform other duties.
